I have decided to experiment with a quilt instead of a sleeping bag. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, I find it very difficult to get a sleeping bag big enough to fit my shoulders inside and secondly, a quilt takes up much less rucksack space and is a lot lighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have used an Exped Downmat for some years and as an experiment I decided to see if it would fit inside my cotton sleeping bag liner.
